Content processing
Braille.tools processes text, braille cells, images or documents only to perform the workflow requested by the user. The type of data processed depends on the tool being used.
Uploaded content should not include information that the user is not authorized to process. For highly sensitive material, use an approved offline or institutional workflow.
Accounts and billing
Account records may include a name, email address, authentication records, plan status and product usage needed to operate and secure the service.
Checkout and payment-card processing are performed by the configured payment provider. Braille.tools receives the information needed to activate and manage access, but does not store complete payment-card numbers.
Accuracy and professional review
UEB translation, image recognition, OCR and structure restoration are automated processes. Image quality, source formatting, language rules and document complexity can affect the result.
Use back-translation, correction reports and editable output to review results. A qualified braille transcriber or accessibility specialist should approve professional publication and safety-critical material.
Policies and contact
The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data used to operate the service. The Terms of Service describe permitted use and important limitations.
Questions about security, privacy or data handling can be sent to hello@braille.tools.
